Anthropologist, Ph.D. in Biology, Associate Professor at the Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Biology, Lomonosov Moscow State University. Scientific editor of the scientific and educational portal antropogenez.ru. Author of a number of scientific monographs and articles on anthropogenesis and the origins of modern human diversity. Author of popular science books, "The Reaching Link" and "Tales from the Grotto". Lecturer of the forum "Scientists Against Myths", member of the scientific-expert council of the "Community of Young Scientists", participant in numerous archaeological expeditions. Winner of the 2017 Fidelity to Science Award and the 2018 Belyaev Prize, finalist for the 2017 and 2018 Illuminator Awards, winner of the 2019 RAS Prize for the Popularization of Science and the 2021 Knowledge Award.
