Vladimir Plizga

I have been passionate about programming since my school days and had the opportunity to code on a variety of platforms: from Soviet programmable calculators to modern CNC machines. However, for the past 10+ years of my professional career, I have dedicated my to backend development using Java: first in fintech, and then in industrial IoT.

I enjoy helping people, so in addition to organizing regular TechTalks within my teams, I speak at meetups and conferences, occasionally write articles on topics related to JVM, and develop open-source tools to simplify everyday tasks in backend development and testing.

I conduct training sessions on Java application performance and am a member of the Program committee for the Siberian Java conference SnowOne. Author of the Telegram channel ‘Top Shelf’ where I share my thoughts and observations on various topics around software development.
