Migration from IBM WebSphere+Oracle JDK+Oracle DB to Libercat+Axiom JDK+PostgreSQL

In 2024, PSB hosted activities to transition to Russian software. I would like to tell you how we planned and implemented this transition for a large, highly loaded system from enterprise solutions from IBM and Oracle to Russian solutions from Axiom and Postgres. In addition, how the DBMS was unloaded by transferring unstructured data from it to object storage based on Ceph.

Domestic solutions were just a tool, and it was necessary to solve issues such as moving from one application server to another, solving configuration issues, ensuring integration with other bank systems, despite the fact that nothing should have changed for them. Switch from the Oracle DBMS to the PostgreSQL DBMS and solve the transition issues (how and with what to transfer data schemas and the data itself), how to ensure reverse synchronization of Oracle data for those systems that will not have time to jump over to Postgres with us in an instant.
